Template Types
RepeatPosts offers three types of templates:
System Templates
Professionally designed templates curated by RepeatPosts. Available to all users as a starting point for your graphics.
My Templates
Templates you've created or copied. Private to your team unless you publish them to the community.
Community Templates
Templates shared by other RepeatPosts users. Browse, like, and copy them to your own library.
Browsing & Filtering
Find the right template quickly using the filtering and search tools:
- Category — Filter by content type (social post, story, cover, etc.).
- Industry — Find templates designed for your industry (food, fitness, real estate, etc.).
- Platform — Filter by social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Search — Search templates by name or description.
- Sort — Order results by popularity, newest, most liked, most used, or alphabetically.
Use the tabs at the top of the Templates page to switch between System, My Templates, Community, and Liked templates.
Creating Custom Templates
Build your own templates using the drag-and-drop editor:
- Go to Templates > My Templates > Create New.
- Set the template name, description, category, and industry.
- Use the canvas editor to design your layout:
- Add text elements with customisable fonts, sizes, and positions.
- Add images and shapes from your asset library.
- Link colours to brand kit slots (primary, secondary, accent) so they adapt automatically.
- Define placeholder fields that users fill in during generation.
- Select which platform formats the template supports.
- Save your template.
Templates are saved as SVG-based definitions, ensuring crisp output at any resolution.
Template Packages
Template packages are curated collections of templates grouped by theme or industry. They're a great way to get a set of matching designs for a campaign.
- Browse packages on the Packages page.
- View package details to see all included templates.
- Click Acquire to copy all templates in a package to your library at once.
- Like packages to save them for later.
You can also create your own packages to organise related templates together.
Publishing to Community
Share your templates with all RepeatPosts users:
- Open one of your templates from My Templates.
- Click Publish to Community.
- Your template will appear in the Community gallery for others to discover, like, and use.
You can unpublish a template at any time to remove it from the community gallery. Templates shared within your team remain accessible regardless.
